Assistant Men's & Women's Water Polo Coach

Job Description

Reporting to the Head Men’s and Women’s Water Polo coach, the Assistant Coach is responsible for working, as directed, with the Head Coach toward the planning and execution of a successful program. This individual will assist in overseeing coaching, recruitment, and retention of the Water Polo Programs for the University. This position ensures the program works within University and NCAA rules and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Assist in all facets of the men’s & women’s D1 varsity programs.
  2. Assist in evaluation & recruitment of potential student athletes.
  3. Organize and plan practices & games.
  4. Monitor academic progress of student athletes.
  5. Assist in video analytics & scouting.
  6. Plan team travel.
  7. Participate in fundraising activities.
Job Requirements: Education, Experience, and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Collegiate playing experience.
  • Coaching experience at any level preferred.
  • Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
Salary/Hours/Benefits
  • $10,200/year.
  • Part-time (20 hours/week).
  • Tuition Remission Benefits.
