Job Description: The Assistant Men's & Women's Track & Field Coach plays a vital role in advancing the growth and success of our student-athletes. This part-time position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities within the sport program, including-but not limited to-practice planning, game preparation and scouting, in-game coaching, recruiting, administrative duties, and the general supervision of student-athletes. The coach will assist in developing and implementing training programs, provide tactical guidance during competitions, and collaborate closely with the head coach to enhance overall team performance. Expertise in throws is preferred to deliver specialized coaching in this area. Beyond on-field coaching, the role involves supporting the academic achievement, physical well-being, and personal development of student-athletes, while fostering a team culture grounded in discipline, respect, and integrity. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a commitment to upholding the high standards of the athletic department.
