GRP Media is currently seeking to fill an entry level Assistant Media Planner position.

We are a full service, data-driven media planning and buying agency located on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago. Our client roster includes Abbott Labs, American Century Investments, Amplify ETFs, Lurie Children's Hospital, Perma-Seal, Propane Education & Research Council, Rush Health and Zurich North America.

Responsibilities

You will be assigned to a team or teams working on a specific roster of clients. Responsibilities will include budget management, invoicing, data entry, data analysis, etc. You will be trained on all aspects of media planning with the goal of being promoted to the role of Media Planner within 12-15 months. As an entry level employee, you will receive formal performance feedback each month for your first 6 months of employment with the goal of helping you get on a steady development and learning track during your first few months in the position.

Qualifications

Candidates must be organized, curious, proactive, able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively and very comfortable working with numbers. A short math assessment will be part of the interview process. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is critical. You will be expected to be able to work independently within Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. Some advertising-relevant working experience or internships is highly desirable.

Candidates must live in the Chicagoland area and be able to come to our office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
