Job summary

Teton Petroleum Transport (TPT) is seeking an Assistant Mechanic to support our Shop Manager in repairing vehicles and trailers at our Cody, WY facility. This hands-on position helps maintain uptime for the fuel delivery fleet and requires adherence to safety standards.

You will organize parts, assist in inventory management, and ensure shop areas stay clean and safe while providing friendly service to internal and external customers.

Teton Petroleum Transport (TPT) is currently seeking an Assistant Mechanic. This role will assist our Shop manager in the repairing of our vehicles and trailers. TPT delivers fuel to over 40 states for a variety of customers and industries.

The Assistant Mechanic will primarily be focused on:

• Follow company safety standards and report issues.
• Organize incoming parts and assist in parts inventory management.
• Retrieve and collect parts internally and externally.
• Clean shop areas to ensure the area is safe and free from debris and other hazards.
• Wash, clean, and detail trucks as needed.
• Pressure wash bays to ensure they are safe and clean.

The preferred candidate for the Assistant Mechanic will have the following:
