Job summary

Bandon Dunes Golf Resort is seeking an Assistant Mechanic to join our agronomy team’s workshop on the Oregon Coast. You’ll help keep mowers, reels, and utility vehicles running so our grounds crew delivers pristine conditions for guests.

You'll learn hands-on maintenance from experienced mechanics, grow your trade skills in welding and fabrication, and enjoy a supportive shop environment with opportunities to advance as you take on more responsibilities.

Qualifications

Experience with mechanical, automotive, or small-engine repair, or strong interest to learn.
Ability to operate and handle hand/power tools safely.
Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
Valid driver’s license.
Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

Support Equipment Repairs: inspect equipment and assist with repairs.
Handle Routine Maintenance: service, lubricate, and adjust equipment.
Assist with Reels and Blades: replace reels, set cutting heights.
Pitch in on Tire Service: assist with tire changes.
Keep the Shop Running Smoothly: maintain a clean, organized shop and track parts.
Grow Your Trade Skills: learn welding and fabrication from experienced mechanics.
