Job summary

Calusa Country Club, located in Bradenton, FL, proudly part of Troon, is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Mechanic to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property. The role covers overhauls, maintenance and service of golf course equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

We offer $25.00 per hour with benefits as described, and opportunities to develop skills in hydraulic systems and power equipment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with small engine repairs and maintenance.
• Must be a quick learner and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul and repair maintenance vehicles, mowing equipment and other power equipment.
• Lubricate and service all equipment.
• Inspect equipment for operating deficiencies and make routine adjustments.
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of hydraulic systems, repairs and components.
• Inspect, change and repair tires.
• Assist in controlling tool access and use by maintenance staff.
• Clean work areas after repair work is completed.
• Assist in fabricating, body repair and painting.
• Adjust cutting units on mowing equipment.
• Assist on the maintenance crew and operate mowing equipment as needed.
• Train maintenance staff in care and upkeep of golf course equipment.
• Operate or train to operate various maintenance equipment as needed.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Perform other duties as required.

Compensation

$25.00 hourly

Responsibilities

• Must have 2+ years of experience with small engine repairs and maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be a quick learner and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
