In this role, you will manage daily Meat Department operations, contribute to sales and profitability, and ensure consistent adherence to freshness, food safety, and merchandising standards. Manage daily Meat Department operations to meet service, quality, and financial expectations
Maintain a professional, customer‑focused environment and respond to customer inquiries and special orders
Plan and coordinate daily production activities including preparation, packaging, stocking, and merchandising
Ensure displays are stocked, rotated, labeled, and maintained to company standards
Implement promotional and seasonal programs as scheduled
Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, temperature, and regulatory requirements
Review production results and adjust activities to support yield and profitability goals
Manage ordering, inventory levels, shrink, reclamation, and departmental expenses
Maintain clean, safe work areas including preparation rooms, coolers, freezers, display cases, and equipment
Schedule, train, coach, and oversee associates to ensure coverage and performance expectations
Complete and maintain required documentation including logs, reports, and audits
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

Meat department production and merchandising execution
Inventory management, ordering, and shrink control
Labor planning, scheduling, and performance management
Food safety, sanitation, and compliance execution
Meat handling, storage, rotation, and labeling standards
Food safety and temperature‑control requirements
Store systems, ordering platforms, and department documentation
Ability to review sales, labor, inventory, and production data
Ability to train and direct associates across department functions
Ability to operate department tools and equipment following company guidelines
Ability to lift, move, and handle product and work in cooler and freezer environments

Other requirements: Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance; compliance with company safety standards, food safety guidelines, grooming standards, and the Code of Business Conduct

Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range.
