Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking an Assistant Math Learning Center Director to support the Center Director in identifying student needs and developing customized learning plans. You will assist with enrolling students and maintaining strong relationships with families.

The role also involves coaching staff to deliver effective group instruction and monitoring student progress. Ideal candidates bring sales experience, a passion for math, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Experience building customer relationships and handling sales tasks is preferred.
• Strong passion for math and working with students is essential.
• Willingness to learn and be trained on center processes and pedagogy.
• Ability to lead and balance multiple responsibilities with a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Center Director by identifying student needs and developing learning plans.
• Assist with leads and enrollment to grow the center’s student base.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating progress to families.
• Lead and coach staff to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Monitor student progress and engagement throughout sessions.

What you will do as an Assistant Math Learning Center Director:

• Support the Center Director in identifying student needs and opportunities and developing customized student learning plans
• Assist with sales responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students
• Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress
• Lead and coach team members to effectively deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Manage students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions

What we are looking for in an Assistant Math Learning Center Director:

• Previous customer relationships & sales experience preferred
• Passion for math and working with students
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance diverse responsibilities
