Job summary

KnitWell Group is seeking an Assistant Manager for our store in Novi, MI (WHBM). You will assist the Store Manager in leading the team, building community connections, and delivering a seamless customer experience that reflects our hospitality-driven culture.

You will help drive sales, manage daily operations, hire and coach associates, and ensure store standards are met while supporting omni-channel initiatives. 18+ and retail leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability—nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds while on the sales floor and stockroom.

About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in leading the team, building community connections, and creating a seamless customer experience.
