Our team members serve as the foundation for growth, with managers providing leadership and direction. The Part-time Assistant Manager gains knowledge and experience, necessary for promotion to higher management roles, through performing duties personally or via subordinates. A structured training program is provided to develop your career within our management structure. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, energetic, sports-minded individuals with solid customer service backgrounds or relevant educational backgrounds.

Responsibilities
  • Performing customer sales and service
  • Merchandising and ensuring compliance with all company policies
  • Answering customer inquiries via telephone
  • Setting promotional signage
  • Enforcing all company policies
  • Learning and providing product descriptions
  • Proposing add-on sales
  • Checking and retrieving merchandise from storage areas
  • Organizing, restocking, and cleaning merchandise on the sales floor
  • Managing store opening and closing procedures
  • Training newly hired associates
  • Directing sales and cashier associates throughout the store
  • Controlling inventory and enforcing loss prevention policies
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must possess a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent, or relevant experience
  • Basic organizational and math skills required
  • Candidate will be subject to E-Verify upon accepting an offer
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Effective interactive and communication skills are essential
  • Flexible scheduling availability

California Pay Scale: $16.50 - $19.45/hour depending on store location
