Job summary

Big 5 Sporting Goods Corporation in Warrenton, OR is seeking an Assistant Manager Trainee in a part-time role to lead customer service and daily store operations. The program offers a structured path to management with a defined training plan and promotion opportunities within 6–18 months.

You will support opening/closing, supervise staff, and ensure merchandise is stocked and promotion-ready while upholding company policies and loss-prevention measures.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess basic organizational and/or applicable math skills.
• Detail-oriented and reliable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of sporting goods is a plus.
• Must possess High School diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency Exam.
• Flexible Scheduling.
