Responsibilities
- Performing customer sales and service
- Merchandising and compliance with all company policies
- Answering customer inquiries via telephone
- Setting promotional signage
- Enforcing all company policies
- Learning and providing product descriptions
- Proposing add-on sales
- Checking and retrieving merchandise from storage
- Organizing, restocking, and cleaning merchandise on the sales floor
- Store opening and closing procedures
- Training newly hired associates
- Directing sales and cashier associates
- Inventory control and loss prevention enforcement
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must possess a High School diploma, GED, or relevant experience
- Basic organizational and math skills
- Subject to E-Verify upon accepting the position
- Ability to lift light to moderate loads, with or without accommodation
- Effective communication skills
- Flexible scheduling
Compensation
- California Pay Scale: $16.50 - $19.45/hour depending on store location
