Big 5 Sporting Goods is seeking a motivated Management Trainee in Pleasant Hill, CA to join our fast-paced store team. This entry-level program is designed to develop future store managers through hands-on training and leadership opportunities over 6–18 months.

You will gain experience in customer service, sales, merchandising, staffing, and daily operations while working with experienced mentors. A 21+ age requirement and a High School diploma or GED are needed; enthusiasm for sports is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Role Overview

Our Manager Trainee gains knowledge and experience required for promotion to higher management positions under direction of experienced personnel, by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. This entry-level position is purposely designed to be transitory and generally lasts 6-18 months before promotion to the next level. A well-defined training program will be provided to help you develop your way into a management position. Primary Duties

Position Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
