Job description

The Team Lead, Digital Power Systems Quotations is a working leader within the quotations organization, combining technical quotation expertise with day-to-day team leadership. The role coaches and supports Quote Specialists, coordinates workload and priorities, and promotes consistent quality, efficiency, and customer responsiveness. The Team Lead partners with Sales, Area Sales Managers, Quote Coordinators, regional management, and global quotation teams to execute strategic opportunities and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Operational Excellence
  • Manage workload, capacity, quote assignments, priorities, and resource balancing to meet customer and business needs.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Quote Specialists through onboarding, training, feedback, knowledge sharing, and best practices.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day resource for quotation processes, tools, products, applications, and commercial practices.
  • Monitor performance against organizational KPIs and lead actions that improve productivity, quotation quality, cycle time, and responsiveness.
  • Partner with regional management and cross-functional teams to implement and continuously improve quotation policies, procedures, and workflows.
  • Build effective collaboration across local and global teams, including India-based quotation and management partners.
  • Participate in strategic bid reviews and Area Bid Meetings, providing quotation expertise and supporting key opportunities.
  • Maintain trusted relationships with Sales, Area Sales Managers, and other stakeholders to drive strong customer outcomes.
Quotation and Technical Execution
  • Prepare and review complex quotation packages, including bills of material, technical compliance documentation, solution descriptions, assumptions, and exclusions.
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop competitive, technically compliant solutions for complex project opportunities.
  • Identify and communicate technical, commercial, and contractual risks, and contribute to effective bid strategies.
  • Collaborate with Sales to optimize solutions, strengthen competitiveness, provide technical clarifications, and support bid success.
  • Apply product, application, and commercial knowledge to support customers and internal stakeholders throughout the quotation process.
  • Identify value-engineering opportunities and recommend solution enhancements that improve customer value and business results.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 101,600 - USD 152,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
