GPM Investments is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Admiral-branded convenience store in Tawas City, MI. The role demands open availability for weekends, holidays, and second or third shifts, with duties spanning customer service, operations, and leadership to keep the store energized and running smoothly.

You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach the team on upselling, and help hire/train a high-performing crew.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends, holidays, and second/third shifts.
• Reliable transportation with valid license and insurance for deposits.
• Physical readiness for cleaning, lifting, stocking and related tasks.
• Minimum age of 18+ years.
• Good English communication and basic math.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
• Must have or obtain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily operations and leadership.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of day-to-day operations.

• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
