Job summary

GPM Investments is seeking an Assistant Manager for Store 5716 in Marysville, OH. This full-time role requires open availability, weekend and holiday shifts, and a readiness to work second or third shifts in a fast-paced convenience store environment.

You will support the Store Manager, supervise staff, handle cash, assist customers, and drive upsell initiatives while maintaining store standards and safety. Competitive pay and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• The candidate must be available to work weekends, holidays, and multiple shifts.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle access, and proof of insurance for deposits.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills; customer service experience is a plus.
• Physical tasks include cleaning restrooms, trash removal, and outside area upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Assist in hiring, training, and leading a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits; oversee store financials.
• Provide leadership to motivate the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned
