Job summary

GPM Investments is seeking an Assistant Manager for our energy-filled convenience store. You will support the Store Manager, manage registers, and lead a customer‑facing team across day and evening shifts.

Open availability is required, with weekend/holiday work. A Food Safety Certification is required or obtainable, and a driver’s license is needed for deposits and operations.

Qualifications

• Open availability for weekends, holidays, and second/third shifts.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Able to perform cleaning, stocking, and basic store maintenance.
• Minimum age 18+.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willing to learn and adapt.
• Food Safety Certification required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.

• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.

• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits, oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team to excel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum Age Requirement: 18+ years old.
• Communication Skills: Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willing to Learn.
• Certification: Must have (or be able to obtain) a Food Safety Certification.
