Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC in Tennessee is seeking an Assistant Manager for our high-energy convenience store. You’ll support the Store Manager, run the register, coach a team, and help hire and train a great staff while maintaining top customer service across shifts.

Open availability is a must, including weekends and holidays. You’ll manage schedules, handle deposits, maintain store cleanliness, and grow toward a Store Manager role with weekly pay, a potential monthly bonus, a sign-on bonus, 401(k),

Qualifications

• Must have open availability for weekends, holidays, and second/third shifts.
• Minimum age 21+ years old.
• Must have (or obtain) Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed, accuracy, and a great attitude.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service and store success.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store—including restrooms, trash areas, and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership that motivates your team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned

• Certification Must have (or be able to obtain obtain) a Food Safety Certification
