Job summary

Vail Resorts in Colorado seeks a Ski & Ride School Supervisor to oversee daily instruction, curriculum development, scheduling, and staff coordination. You will support instructors, manage administrative duties including hiring and payroll, and ensure safety and policy compliance.

The role requires PSIA/AASI certification and 1–3 years of instructor and 1 year of supervisory experience. A flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends is expected, with English fluency a must.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
• Current PSIA/AASI or equivalent certification required.
• 1-3 years ski/snowboard instructor experience and 1 year of supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily instruction at Ski and Ride School including curriculum development, scheduling, and assigning classes providing support with instruction as needed.
• Assist with administrative duties including hiring, scheduling, training, payroll, managing equipment inventory and reporting on guest feedback.
• Monitor and document instructor performance and behavior to provide meaningful feedback and direction, including recognition, correction action, or escalation if necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Adhere to all safety related programs including policy training and incident reporting.
• Coordinate with other management, departments, and third-party organizations as needed.
• Participate in leadership forums providing feedback and input on school operations, training, and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned

The expected pay range is $57,784.00 -$65,433.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
