Job summary

Happy Daz Restaurants in Lima, OH, is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team and help lead daily operations. You will support the General Manager, mentor and train crew, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold safety, sanitation and quality standards across all shifts.

You’ll manage scheduling, assist with inventory and cost controls, handle guest issues with GRACE, and promote teamwork with a positive, accountable culture. This full-time role reports to the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a diverse team of people.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures or certification.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist the General Manager with scheduling, inventory, ordering, and cost control.
• Lead daily operations with a focus on guest service, throughput, and labor cost.
• Train and mentor team members; cross-train for coverage and consistency.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and cleanliness across the restaurant.
• Address guest concerns using GRACE to provide a quality experience.
• Assist in all positions as needed and communicate effectively with staff.
