Job summary

sneakybird is seeking an Assistant Manager at the Queen Creek, AZ location to support the General Manager in daily operations, supervise staff, and uphold high standards of hospitality and quality.

You will coach team members, manage scheduling, handle guest concerns, ensure health and safety compliance, and contribute to a positive work environment. Must have ServSafe and prior supervisory experience in food service or hospitality. Competitive compensation includes base pay and tip pool.

Position Overview

The Assistant Manager will support the General Manager in leading daily operations, supervising team members, and ensuring excellent customer experiences. This role requires hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to uphold sneakybird’sstandards of quality and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead and motivate team members, providing ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining service standards and handling guest concerns promptly.
• Support food quality and safety standards, including adherence to all health and safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and assist with ordering supplies.
• Oversee cash handling and POS transactions with accuracy and accountability.
• Uphold company policies and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Assist in scheduling staff to balance labor costs with business needs.
• Step into leadership roles in the absence of the General Manager.

Qualifications
