Job summary

Jimmy John's seeks an Assistant Manager to oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager. You will help ensure the store is clean, service is excellent, and team members perform duties efficiently with integrity. Positive, enthusiastic attitude required.

You will lead by example, train staff, manage labor and food cost for shifts, and help with scheduling. This role offers strong training, a clear path to promotion, and a culture of recognition.

Qualifications

• Ability to work up to 40 hour week.
• At least 18 years of age.
• At least 6 months of QSR experience, managerial experience preferred.

Assistant Managers help oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager. The Assistant Manager plays a major role in ensuring the store is in exceptional order and that all employees are performing duties properly and efficiently. Assistant Managers must lead by example and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. As an Assistant Manager, your attitude needs to be enthusiastic, friendly, and positive.

Requirements:

• Ability to work up to 40 hour week (or more as needed)
• At least 18 years of age
• At least 6 months of Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) experience - managerial experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to handle fast-paced and high stress situations in the store
• Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision
• Willing to offer opinions and recommendations towards the store and employees
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent communication, management/leadership and organizational skills
• Physical dexterity required (the ability to move up to 25lbs. from one area to another occasionally)
• Attendance and Punctuality a must!!!
