National Vision is seeking an experienced store leader in Virginia Beach to drive optical sales, supervise staff, and ensure excellent customer service. You will oversee the eyeglass department, implement promotions, and guarantee merchandising aligns with corporate guidelines.

The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to motivate teams while maintaining top service standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze financial reports.
• Licensure requirements may apply in some locations.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (review P&L).
• Oversee eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Deliver outstanding customer service; ensure teams do the same.
• Maintain quality standards; review remakes and enforce policy.
• Liaise with GM, DM, and Corporate; provide store reporting.
• Ensure promotions and merchandising are in place; inform staff/doctors.
• Supervise Opticians and CL Sales staff; ensure daily tasks complete.
• Assist GM with staffing forecasts and recruitment.
• Motivate staff to exceed performance targets.
• Duties may vary to meet state licensing requirements.

What would you do? - The Specifics

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (i.e. reviewing the P&L).
• Optimize and oversee the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and compliance with company's policies and operational guidelines.
• Convey a commitment to providing outstanding customer service and ensure all associates do the same.
• Ensure quality standards are met. Review remakes and enforce policies to ensure compliance.
• Communicate with the General Manger, District Manager, and Corporate Office and provide store reporting as required.
• Ensure store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are in place and all associates and doctors are aware of current promotions.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates (in some stores the Receptionist) and ensures the timely completion of day-to-day functions.
• Assist the General Manager with forecasting staffing needs, recruiting, selecting and retaining a high caliber staff.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
• In some locations, state laws require certain responsibilities to be performed by individuals with specific licenses or credentials. Job duties and work practices may vary to meet these requirements.
