Job summary

National Vision, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager at Eyeglass World in Spokane, WA. You will oversee daily operations, mentor a team of Optician/Sales Associates, and ensure customers receive quality eye care and a superior shopping experience.

The role requires strong leadership, store-operations know-how, and excellent communication to coordinate with store leadership and doctors. Join a growing brand offering growth opportunities and a supporting team environment.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience and supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Strong communication skills for effective management of teams.
• Able to present clear information and respond to questions from managers, associates, and customers.
• Strong organizational skills for planning work and monitoring progress toward goals.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.

Responsibilities

• Drive and achieve profit, sales and performance goals according to National Vision standards.
• Monitor sales results against budgeted figures.
• Ensure all store associates deliver the highest level of customer service.
• Maintain awareness of same day service using the Ready When Promised production board.
• Communicate with the General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office and provide store reporting as required.
• Develop and maintain relationships with doctors associated with the store and act as liaison between doctor and store personnel.
• Ensure store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are in place for all associates and doctors.
• Supervise and motivate Optician/Sales Associates and ensure day-to-day tasks are completed on time.
• Assist the General Manager with staffing, recruiting and retaining a high-caliber team.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.

• Supervise and motivate Optician/Sales Associates and ensures the timely completion of day-to-day functions.
• Assist the General Manager with balancing staffing to store volume. Assist in recruiting, selecting and retaining a high caliber staff.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
