- DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee and facilitate daily wire transfers, deposit programs, interest payments, and banking relationships while ensuring that daily operations are completed accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities include managing and monitoring the allocation of deposits and the approval/authorization of wire or trade instructions and supervising a small team, ensuring their growth and development through formal training and coaching. Additionally, you will maintain and enhance the Department's digital presence and customer engagement through the development of new initiatives.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to two days per week telework with mandatory three days per week in the office. Management may discontinue the telework arrangement at any time, for any reason. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related major from an accredited University and 5 years of experience in government or commercial banking; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in banking, cash management, or a related field.
- You must be proficient in using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Supervisory experience
- Experience and/or knowledge of banking operations, wire transfers, and cash management principles
- Experience with Oracle Peoplesoft, SAP, or other ERP systems
- Experience with managing daily banking transactions and wire transfers
