Nexstar Media Group is seeking an Assistant Manager - Master Control to oversee hub operations in a demanding, multi-station environment. You will supervise staff, manage scheduling, and coordinate cross-department communication to ensure timely hub performance.

The role requires experience in Master Control, FCC compliance, and proficiency with Florical automation and Telestream Vantage systems, across a 24/7 schedule.

Formación

• Prior supervisory experience in a multi-station Master Control Hub.
• Extensive knowledge of multi-station Master Control operations.
• Knowledge of FCC regulations related to Master Control.
• Ability to manage a large staff in a fast-paced, 24/7 operation.
• Experience with Florical automation systems for playout and ingest.
• Experience with Telestream Vantage Transcoding systems.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct supervision and training to Hub Operations staff.

Assistant Manager - Master Control

The Assistant Manager - Master Control will: Provide direct supervision and training to Hub Operations staff in a multi-station hub environment.

• Create and maintain staff schedules.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching or counseling as needed.
• Provide communication and coordination with stations, hubs, and other departments to ensure the hub's needs are met in a timely manner.
• Provides timely and effective communication to the Hub Master Control Manager of all issues affecting the Hub.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Prior supervisory experience in a multi-station Master Control Hub environment.
• Extensive knowledge of multi-station television master control operations.
• Knowledge of FCC regulations related to master control operations.
• The ability to effectively manage a large staff in a fast paced, 24/7 operation.
• Experience with Florical automation systems including playout and ingest operations.
• Experience with multi-node Telestream Vantage Transcoding systems required.
• Must be able to lift 40lbs, be able to bend, squat and kneel in order to install and maintain equipment.
• Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time while monitoring operations.
