Supports the Store Manager and/or Associate Store Manager in attaining Levi's Store Iconic status by assisting in the development of the store team and contributing to the successful implementation of strategies and operational excellence that ensure brand equity, customer satisfaction, and financial growth. Assumes responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager and/or Associate Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for operational results including store procedures, payroll management, cash handling, and inventory control.
  • Ensure operational standards are achieved and maintained.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and retaining staff that embody Levi Strauss & Co. values, deliver authentic customer service, and meet sales goals.
  • Execute and oversee visual merchandising in line with corporate directions, recommending adaptations as needed.
  • Lead the merchandising team to meet productivity and inventory management goals, including RFID processes and visual standards.
  • Recruits, screens, and makes recommendations for stylist positions; participates in training new hires on company culture, product knowledge, and selling practices.
  • Coach and develop staff, fostering a positive environment that encourages retention and growth.
  • Manage minor employee relations issues, including performance management and policy adherence.
Basic Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of progressive retail leadership experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proven skills in supervising, coaching, and training sales associates.
  • Strong retail apparel experience and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and adapt to last-minute changes.
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomatic skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new computer programs.
  • Energetic, positive demeanor with a passion for Levi Strauss & Co.
  • Leadership qualities such as leading through change, providing clear direction, and coaching for improvement.
