Job summary

HipBurger is seeking an Assistant Manager to be the right-hand to the General Manager and help run high-energy shifts with a team that values hustle and heart. You’ll lead daily operations, coach staff, and step in across grill, register, drive-thru and expo to ensure top-tier experiences for guests.

You bring 1+ year of leadership in food service, a natural ability to motivate people, and a calm, energetic presence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and performance on shift.
• Lead and coach crew members and shift leads with energy.
• Step in on floor during peak times (grill, register, drive-thru, expo).
• Deliver guest experiences with speed and quality service.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and feedback.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and HipBurger standards.
• Support GM with inventory, ordering and team development.
• Resolve issues quickly to keep the vibe strong.

• Support the GM with inventory, ordering, and team development
• Solve problems on the fly and keep the vibe strong no matter how busy it gets

What You Bring:

• 1+ year of leadership experience in food service or hospitality
• A natural ability to lead, motivate, and communicate
• Calm in the chaos, cool under pressure
• Big energy and a love for working with people
• Detail-oriented and reliable-you show up, step up, and level up
• Must be 18+ and available for flexible scheduling (nights, weekends, holidays)
