Job summary

Goodwill Suncoast seeks a dedicated professional to support the Tampa Bay Community Corrections/Residential Re-Entry Center (TBCCC/RRC). The role focuses on direct case management and supervision of counselors to align with the Department of Corrections Work Release Program and resident advancement.

You will assist residents with recovery education, life skills, and successful re-entry planning, under supervision. Candidates must meet education requirements and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; one year experience delivering services to residents, offenders, or inmates in criminal justice systems.
• Four (4) years of additional experience may substitute for the degree.
• Subject to alcohol and drug testing; subject to criminal history background checks.

• Assist the TBCCC/RRC manager to ensure services align with the DOC Work Release Program.
• Provide counseling and education for addictive behavior and life skills.

Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting the manager of the Tampa Bay Community Corrections/Residential Re-Entry Center (TBCCC/RRC), thereby ensuring that services provided via direct case management and via supervision of assigned program counselors/case managers are in line with the Department of Corrections (DOC) Work Release Program. The intent of the services is to assist the resident with:

• Entering and adjusting to the DOC Work Release Program;
• Providing counseling and education for addictive behavior and life skills; and
• Preparing the resident for return to society.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and one year experience in in the delivery of services to residents, offenders, or inmates in the care, custody, or supervision of a federal, state, or local criminal justice system. Four (4) years of additional experience in the delivery of services to residents, offenders, or inmates in the care, custody of a federal, state, or local criminal justice system may be substituted for the Bachelors’ degree. Subject to alcohol and drug testing. Subject to criminal history background checks.
