Are you looking for a rewarding career in retail that offers more than just a paycheck? Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania seeks enthusiastic individuals eager to develop a retail career while contributing to the community. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in running the retail outlet, oversee store operations, and supervise staff in the absence of the Store Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership and direction to staff, program participants, donors, and customers to meet production, quality, and sales goals while ensuring efficient store operations.
  • Ensuring staff and retail facilities adhere to organizational policies and procedures, maintaining a positive internal and external store appearance.
  • Demonstrating excellent oral and written communication skills, along with organizational, problem-solving, and management abilities. A customer and detail-oriented approach is essential.

Travel: Local travel may be required.

External Hiring Range: $15.00 to $17.25 per hour

Minimum qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and two or more years of management experience or
  • Associate’s Degree and one year of management experience

Experience in retail, including fast food, resale, or manufacturing/production, is preferred.
