As the Assistant Store Manager, you will demonstrate your critical thinking skills by assisting the Store Manager in the operation of the retail store/outlet. Showcase your management abilities by overseeing personnel and daily operations. Use your active listening and interpersonal skills to provide customer-focused service. The Assistant Store Manager role offers growth opportunities in retail management while adding value to the community!

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing leadership and direction to staff, program participants, donors, and customers to ensure production and quality goals are met, sales expectations are achieved, and the store operates efficiently.
  • Ensuring organizational policies and procedures are applied positively by all staff and that retail facilities reflect a positive internal and external appearance.
  • Possessing excellent oral and written communication skills, along with organizational, problem-solving, and management skills. Being customer and detail-oriented is essential.

External Hiring Range: $15.65 up to $18.00/hour

Retention Bonus: $1,000 after 180 days of employment.

Travel: Local travel may be required.

  • High school diploma or equivalent AND 2 or more years’ management experience required.
  • Or an Associate’s Degree AND 1 year of management experience.
  • Experience in retail, including fast food, resale, or manufacturing/production, is preferred.

REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates must provide current valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
