Job summary

FullSpeedAutomotive is seeking a management-level Assistant Manager at our Morrow, GA location to supervise daily operations and lead a service team. You will coach technicians and advisors, manage schedules, and ensure top-tier customer experiences with speed, quality, and trust.

Responsibilities include training staff on procedures and POS/inventory systems, maintaining safety standards, and driving store performance while fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Supervision

• Support the Store Manager in supervising daily operations, stepping in to lead the location in the manager's absence.

Store & Shop Operations

• Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and point-of-sale transactions.
• Help monitor and maintain inventory levels for parts, fluids, and supplies — placing orders as directed by the Store Manager.
• Ensure the shop and customer areas are clean, organized, and presentable at all times, reflecting brand standards.
• Support compliance with all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with tracking daily sales, productivity, and key performance metrics, helping the team stay focused on store goals.

Quality & Safety

• Help ensure all services are performed correctly, safely, and in accordance with brand and manufacturer standards.
• Conduct or support quality checks on completed work to maintain a high standard of service.
• Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring team members follow proper procedures for equipment use, chemical handling, and shop safety.
• Assist in identifying and addressing maintenance needs for shop equipment and facilities.
