Job summary

The Assistant Manager at Ziggi’s Coffee is a proactive leader who helps create an exceptional guest experience while supporting the General Manager. You will model strong operations, guide training, and foster a positive, growth-oriented store culture.

As a hands-on mentor, you’ll balance accountability with teamwork, step into leadership on shift, and ensure quality drinks, friendly service, and a safe, welcoming environment for both customers and partners.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months leadership experience in a coffee shop, café, or similar fast-paced setting.
• Strong grasp of daily store operations, drink quality standards, and service fundamentals.
• Able to lead by example, give and receive feedback, and step into any role as needed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven reliability and ability to take initiative without supervision.
• Completion of required training modules and a strong understanding of brand values.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to lead the team and maintain day-to-day operations.
• Support new hire onboarding, hands-on training, and continual team development.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive work environment that prioritizes guest experience and team well-being.
• Communicate consistently and clearly with the General Manager, store owners, and team members.
• Execute administrative duties including ordering inventory, preparing deposits, and entering invoices.
• Assist in upholding health, safety, and cleanliness standards across the store.
