Temple University Health System is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Echo/Heart Station in their Non-Invasive Lab. This role involves directing patient care, supervising staff, and performing echocardiograms. Qualifications

  • 3 Years experience as a Cardiac Ultrasound Technician (Required)
  • 1 Year experience in a supervisory role (Preferred)
  • RCS - Reg Cardiac Sonographer or RDCS - Reg Diag Cardiac Sonographer (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Directs patient care provided to Echo Lab/Heart Station at multiple sites.
  • Supervises, trains, schedules, and evaluates staff.
  • Performs echocardiograms and stress testing/EKGs as needed.

Assistant Manager Echo/Heart Station- Non-Invasive Lab- 40HR Day Shift (8am to 4:30pm)- Temple University Hospital - ( 252711 )

In conjunction with the Leadership of THVI, directs the care provided to patients of the Echo Lab/Heart Station at multiple sites (TUH-Main, Jeanes, Episcopal, Chestnut Hill, Oaks, and Women & Families) as directed by the Echo/Heart Station Manager. Assists with supervising, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff. Helps to direct in-service training, maintain and assuring proper functioning of equipment. Assists with IAC accreditation across Temple Health System sites. Orders supplies and maintains par level as needed. Resolves patient care issues. Performs echocardiograms, stress testing/EKGs on an as needed basis. Visits other campuses as needed.

Education
Other : Cardiac Ultrasound training through an AMA approved program. (Required)
Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience
3 Years experience as a Cardiac Ultrasound Technician (Required)
1 Year experience in a supervisory role (Preferred)

License/Certifications
RCS - Reg Cardiac Sonographer (Required) or RDCS - Reg Diag Cardiac Sonographer (Required)
BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
