Job summary

LexLive in Downtown Lexington, KY is hiring enthusiastic, friendly, energetic, and responsible people for hourly Assistant Manager roles across the venue. Managers will oversee their department during shifts, manage teams, goods, equipment and POS software to ensure guest satisfaction and profitability. A background in payroll, scheduling, inventory and some P&L is preferred.

All candidates must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. A background check is required before hire.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older (21+ for some positions).
• At least 3 years of management experience.
• Solid math and computer skills.
• High level oral and written communication skills.
• Impeccable money-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations in assigned area including staff allocation, guest service and problem resolution.
• Oversee area organization and cleanliness.
• Quality Control.
• Lead each shift to maximize guest satisfaction and profitability.
• Interface with POS and software to reconcile receipts daily.
• Assist in inventory management and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Ensure company initiatives and programs are implemented within department.
• Lead by example adhering to policies and performance standards.
• Provide training, coaching and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain open communication with personnel at all levels of the enterprise.
• Perform duties for any position in department when necessary.
• Deliver impeccable guest service from welcome to departure.
• Follow health guidelines to protect health and safety of all.
• Ensure equipment and fixtures are in good order and report hazards.
