Job summary

HomeServe USA in Tennessee is seeking an Assistant Manager, Data Analysis to safeguard financial integrity and lead fraud investigators and data analysts.

You will work with Legal, Data, Finance and Service Delivery to identify inefficiencies, guide risk management, and develop fraud prevention strategies.

This role requires a Bachelor's, 3–5 years supervisory Fraud experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to present insights to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, criminal justice, or related field.
  • 3–5 years’ supervisory or leadership experience in fraud-related roles.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects or process improvements.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and detect patterns.
  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Independent self-starter able to collaborate across organizations.
  • Certifications such as CFE or CFCS are a plus.

Position Overview

The Assistant Manager, Data Analysis is central to safeguarding the financial integrity of the business and mitigating risk associated with the HomeServe claims process. The position will provide strategic leadership, drive process improvement initiatives, and manage a team of fraud investigators and data analysts. The right candidate will work directly with the Legal, Data, Finance, and Service Delivery teams to identify inefficiencies and propose system and process enhancements to improve operational effectiveness and strengthen controls.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage fraud-related projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies and propose system and process enhancements to improve financial performance and operational effectiveness.
  • Define project scope, milestones, and success metrics; track progress and communicate status to stakeholders.
  • Directly manage the team, including coaching, performance management, and talent development.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders of the Legal, Data, Finance, and Service Delivery teams to create and update fraud prevention and detection strategies based on observed patterns and trends as well as industry best practices.
  • Prepare and present regular summaries, strategic recommendations, and operational updates to department leaders on fraud prevention and detection performance
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in fraud prevention and detection, providing guidance and expertise across the organization
  • Contribute to the development of the organization's long-term fraud strategy and risk management framework
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop and improve processes, reporting, and controls.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve HomeServe’s financial performance by proposing or improving upon company systems, processes, and controls.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related field such as business, finance, accounting, criminal justice, or related field OR
  • 3-5 years’ experience in managing or leading a team in supervisory capacity, Fraud related roles, a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects or process improvement initiatives
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and detect patterns.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and extremely proficient with other applications in the Microsoft Office applications suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skillset.
  • Independent self-starter capable of working collaboratively with multiple cross functional organizations.
  • Ability to present strategic ideas and operational updates to senior management.
  • Related certifications, such as CFE or CFCS, a plus.

Salary Range: $52,139 – $69,518 with a 5% annual bonus opportunity
