The Assistant Manager Custodial Services GWGL oversees daily operations of the team, ensuring work is performed according to policies and procedures to meet productivity, service, and quality standards and goals.

Responsibilities
  1. Assigns and coordinates crew tasks to maximize efficiency, meet shift requirements, and complete tasks on time.
  2. Coordinates and schedules equipment, supplies, and labor to maintain facilities and contracted services.
  3. Oversees building inspections for cleanliness, manages emergency responses, and ensures safety measures like snow/ice removal.
  4. Reviews and revises work methods for efficiency and compliance; manages inventory and supplies.
  5. Establishes and maintains training programs for staff.
  6. Performs quality assurance reviews and follow-ups.
  7. Ensures safe work practices and provides necessary training.
  8. Leads and develops talent, including performance appraisals, scheduling, and hiring.
  9. Supports project and change management initiatives.
  10. Resolves operational issues and provides customer service oversight.
  11. Demonstrates technical expertise and interpersonal skills.
  12. Engages in community initiatives and volunteer opportunities.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  1. Two years of college or equivalent experience; minimum 5 years of experience or 2 years managerial experience.
  2. Valid driver’s license and insurance; legal operation of a company vehicle.
  3. Strong oral and written communication skills.
