Job Overview: The Assistant Manager plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, supporting the General Manager in leading a high-performing team, maintaining product quality, and delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires a motivated, organized, and service-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Assist in hiring, training, and supervising baristas and staff to uphold service standards and operational efficiency.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure a warm, friendly, and efficient customer experience, addressing guest needs and resolving any concerns professionally.
  • Operational Support: Oversee inventory, ordering, and stock management to maintain product availability and freshness.
  • Quality Control: Maintain consistency in beverage preparation, adhering to City Market Coffee Roasters' high standards.
  • Financial Oversight: Support revenue goals by managing cash handling procedures, analyzing sales trends, and assisting in budget management.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and food regulations, as well as airport operational guidelines.
  • Marketing & Promotions: Collaborate with leadership to implement promotions, seasonal offerings, and customer engagement initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within the coffee, restaurant, or hospitality industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced airport setting.
