Job Summary

The Assistant Manager (AM), Restaurants is responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers with an entrepreneurial, sales-driven spirit for the company. A key priority includes assisting the GM in the daily operation of the restaurant. Under the direction of the GM, this position will also be responsible for maintaining inventories, cash control, restaurant appearance, and completing daily paperwork. Candidates should be able to strategically recruit, train, and develop a productive store team whose primary focus is promoting our brand while offering exceptional customer service. The AM should inspire and encourage teamwork towards achieving sales goals, upholding daily operations, and creating a fun and energized environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Ensures a pleasant shopping experience, responds to complaints, and coaches the team to maintain high service standards.
• Clean, Safe, and Secure: Maintains a facility that is inspection-ready, complies with health and safety standards, and follows safety protocols.
• Food Safety and Planning: Enforces sanitary practices, ensures compliance with laws and standards, and maintains high-quality food preparation and service.
• Hiring and Training: Assists in hiring and ensures staff are well-trained to meet operational standards.
• Inventory Control: Maintains inventories, researches variances, and ensures storage areas are organized and labeled.
• Sales Generation: Supports sales goals through setting individual targets, contests, and promotions; executes marketing activities.
• Labor Controls: Assists with scheduling to ensure proper staffing based on sales.
• Cash Controls: Ensures proper cash handling, credit processing, and safety procedures; reports discrepancies over $10.
