Job summary

Fogo de Chão in New York City is seeking a Host/Hostess/Greeter to warmly welcome guests, seat them at the right tables, and ensure a smooth front-of-house experience during busy shifts.

You will stand for long periods, work weekends and holidays, and collaborate with team members to maintain a clean lobby and an upbeat dining atmosphere; prior hospitality experience is helpful.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

• Greets each guest and facilitates the guest experience by welcoming them in a friendly and professional manner.
• Seats each guest at the appropriate tables.
• Organizes, stocks and cleans the front lobby during the shift.
• Manages competing demands.

• Complete any beginning or closing shift duties.

Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to transport objects up to 25 lbs, stand for long periods of time, and work at a quick pace.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

This position has a pay range that starts at $17.00 and goes up to $19.00. Your rate is dependent upon your relevant work experience.
