Assistant Manager:

Job Details:
  • Location: Bloomington-Normal, IL market.
  • Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour.
  • Status: Full-time, 45 hours per week.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead by example, creating a friendly and engaging customer experience.
  • Manage shifts in the absence of the General Manager or Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain store conditions above company standards.
  • Assist with inventory receiving, auditing, and vendor interactions.
  • Complete daily paperwork accurately and troubleshoot any errors.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven management experience in retail, food service, or fuel industries.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • A positive attitude with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and on-call as needed.

Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable, personal transportation.
  • Willingness to work at different store locations in the market area.
  • Must pass a background check, motor vehicle report and drug test.
  • Completion of Manager Food Training within 90 days of employment.
