Nordstrom, Inc. in Palm Desert, CA seeks an Assistant Sales Department Manager to lead a team on the floor, drive directive selling and achieve sales goals while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will recruit, coach and develop associates, partner with the department manager to meet productivity targets, and ensure merchandising and inventory standards are consistently strong. A successful candidate builds relationships, handles performance, and thrives in a commission-based

Qualifications

• Ambition to grow as a leader and pursue future opportunities as a Department Manager
• Track record of successful results (e.g., strong productivity, personal trade)
• Competitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence to succeed in a commission-based environment
• Ability to set and achieve sales goals
• Experience developing and maintaining productive relationships with department and store managers, divisional retail merchandiser and other leaders
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills
• A high school diploma, or equivalent (preferred)

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$19.25 - $30.75 Hourly
