The Assistant Manager - Advanced Practice Provider (AMAPP) directly manages functional areas, supervises staff to ensure accountability, and performs administrative operations for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) (Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Certified Nurse Midwives) in specialty areas at Stanford Children's Health. Participates in leadership initiatives for the Center for Advanced Practice by integrating standards, priorities, and organizational objectives, and performance outcomes. Ensures direct reports comply with organizational, local, state, and federal requirements. Practices in clinical specialty and functions according to the Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife Job Descriptions.
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: Master's or Doctorate Degree in Nursing or other healthcare-related field from an accredited university.
Experience: Three (3) years of work experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant.
License/Certification:

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range. Minimum to Midpoint Range (Hourly): $108.50 to $132.92
