Job Responsibilities and Duties

As an Assistant Manager, you are responsible for everything that happens during your shift. This includes all cost controls, inventory control, cash handling, and customer relations. You must set a good example by following ALL policies and procedures 100% of the time and expecting the same from your crew.

Additionally, you'll be responsible for staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash management, food quality, adhering to schedules, maintaining a perfect image, standards, excellent customer service, attendance, punctuality, transportation, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.

Core Job Tasks include:

  • Operating all equipment
  • Stocking ingredients from delivery to storage and work areas
  • Preparing products
  • Receiving and processing telephone orders
  • Taking inventory and completing related paperwork
  • Cleaning equipment and the facility daily

Communication Skills

Ability to understand and give correct written instructions, communicate verbally with customers and coworkers, and process orders over the phone and in person.

Essential Skills

Ability to perform basic math accurately and quickly, make correct change, process orders using a computer, and perform precise movements quickly.

Work Conditions

Varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and mechanical parts are part of the work environment.

Sensing and Physical Requirements

Includes talking, hearing, vision, depth perception, and the ability to lift, carry, push, climb, stoop, reach, and perform hand tasks as detailed.
