Job Summary

The Assistant Manager works productively and supervises restaurant crew members to ensure they perform their responsibilities, helping the restaurant achieve customer satisfaction and profitability during their shift.

Performance Results
  • Serve correct and complete orders within service time goals, according to customer service standards.
  • Prepare and ensure high-quality products are served as per Little Caesars standards and training materials.
  • Follow uniform guidelines and conduct policies outlined in training materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations and restaurant image standards.
  • Adhere to cash handling, safety, and security procedures.
  • Provide direction and feedback to crew members to ensure standards and policies are met.
  • Manage food, paper, labor, and utility costs according to projections and monitor shift activities for compliance.
  • Complete daily paperwork accurately as directed.
  • Handle unexpected occurrences promptly and notify management accordingly.
Nature & Scope

The Assistant Manager receives training from the Restaurant Manager and other Little Caesars materials. They supervise crew members, including minors, motivating and coaching them to perform proficiently. They ensure shifts meet customer needs and comply with all laws and policies.

Discuss responsibilities with your Restaurant Manager to understand essential functions. The position requires physical work, including lifting and standing for long periods.

Task Analysis
  • Lift and move up to 55 pounds.
  • Reach and move items from high and low positions.
  • Operate equipment safely and correctly.
  • Perform outside work as permitted by ordinance.
  • Apply pressure for cutting and cleaning tasks.
  • Manage inventory and food processing.
  • Understand instructions and complete customer orders.
  • Pass required certifications.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
  • Use math skills for sales, inventory, and scheduling.
  • Drive legally and safely.
  • Supervise and motivate team members to meet goals.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in restaurants, retail, or customer service preferred.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with basic math skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable, hardworking, and able to work under pressure.
  • Availability for approximately 20-30 hours per week.
  • Completion of the 4-week training plan and passing evaluations.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
