About the Role
We're looking for a highly organized, entrepreneurial Assistant Manager to help drive our e-commerce business forward. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution — you'll partner closely with the E-Commerce Owner to bring the site vision to life, operationalize our experimentation program, and ensure every customer touchpoint reflects a best-in-class experience.
You'll be a key cross-functional connector, coordinating with creative, engineering, analytics, and external partners to execute campaigns, CRO tests, and site improvements. This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives on momentum, owns their work end‑to‑end, and brings both sharp attention to detail and a founder's mindset to everything they do.
Key Responsibilities
Site & Campaign Execution
- Partner with the E-Commerce Owner to execute on‑site experiences during campaigns, ensuring cross‑team alignment on the strategic vision
- Coordinate with the Creative Team to ensure site assets and copy are accurate, up to date, and aligned with best practices for a best‑in‑class site experience
- Support key launches, promotions, and seasonal moments with hands‑on execution and coordination
- Surface upgrade and optimization Shopify recommendations to the E-Commerce team with clear rationale and impact estimates
- Strong Shopify fluency with an ability to move fast inside without waiting on a developer for basic site updates, app evaluations, or merchandising changes.
Strategic Roadmap Support
- Partner with the E-Commerce Owner on quarterly updates to the strategic roadmap
- Translate high‑level priorities into structured, executable plans with clear owners and timelines
- Track progress against roadmap milestones and proactively flag risks or blockers
CRO Backlog & Prioritization
- Maintain and organize a centralized CRO backlog based on the strategic roadmap
- Creating a full catalogue of tests and learnings
- Take CRO strategy and priorities set by the E-Commerce Owner and translate them into a refined, executable backlog
- Score and organize CRO tests using an established framework, maintaining a clear and up‑to‑date scoring sheet to support prioritization decisions
- Maintain an organized calendar of all CRO tests, updating dates as necessary and proactively communicating changes to cross‑functional teams
- Work closely with the Digital Operations team, leveraging technical knowledge to seamlessly execute tests bug‑free
- Translate hypotheses into clear, actionable test plans
- Write detailed test briefs outlining:
- Goal and hypothesis
- Primary KPIs and success criteria
- Assets + Content
- Own test delivery end‑to‑end, serving as the single point of accountability for execution
- Coordinate designers, developers, copywriters, analysts, and external agency partners
- Manage timelines, dependencies, and tradeoffs to keep tests moving forward
- Proactively identify and remove blockers to maintain execution velocity
- Ensure experiments are instrumented to measure KPIs and custom metrics
- Document test outcomes, insights, and recommended next steps
- Communicate test status, timelines, and results to cross‑functional stakeholders
- Act as the primary internal point of contact for the external CRO agency, ensuring deliverables are on time, on brief, and to expectation
