Job description

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting all aspects of the venue operation including guest and employee satisfaction.

• Bar and restaurant management experience required
• Required: Food safety certification (able to earn upon hire)
• Required: TIPS certification (able to earn upon hire)
• Must be available days / nights / weekends, holidays

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding guest service
• Ensure staff receives proper training for each position, including safety training and standard operating procedures
• Assist with resolving employee issues
• Adhere to all company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating procedures
• Order supplies and equipment as needed and in accordance with company procedures
• Assist in creating schedules for employees
• Ensure proper staffing

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience in a restaurant management position or at least five years' experience in a guest service position
• Highly energetic and motivated individual
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer/client focus
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Very detail-oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Ability to shift and manage multiple priorities
