Job summary

Jersey Mike's Subs in Spotswood, NJ, is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a fast-paced team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will supervise daily operations, handle scheduling, and ensure food safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant management experience (2+ preferred).
• Serve Safe Certification required.

This position pays an hourly wage between $19 to $20 plus tips!

An Assistant General Manager responsibilities include:

• Motivating, developing and coaching their team


• Work in a fast-paced team driven atmosphere


• Interface with customers and provide an exceptional experience


• Perform all tasks related to opening and closing of store

• Fill in for Manager in all capacities when needed

Qualifications for the job:

• At least 1 year of restaurant management (More than one year preferred)


• Serve Safe Certification - Required


• Must have reliable transportation


• Have comprehensive knowledge of operational checklists


• Must be able to maintain a reliable schedule


• Education: High school degree or equivalent


• Ability to lift 50 lbs.


• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
