Job summary

Jimmy John's is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager. You will help keep the store in exceptional order and ensure staff perform duties efficiently, leading by example with integrity. Open availability is required and bonuses are available for effective performance.

The role demands the ability to work 40 hours weekly, fit for day and night shifts, and the capacity to train multiple positions while coaching a team in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work 40 hours per week.
• DAY SHIFTS AND NIGHT SHIFTS ARE REQUIRED.
• MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY
• At least 18 years of age
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Must be able to perform, teach and train all aspects of Assistant Manager, PIC, InShopper and Delivery Driver positions, as needed
• Ability to handle fast-paced situations in the store
• Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision
• Willing to coach and task-manage employees on store operations
• Willing to offer opinions and recommendations to the General Manager
• Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs regularly throughout shifts
• Ability to stand, bend and reach throughout shifts

Responsibilities

Assistant Managers help oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager. The Assistant Manager plays a major role in ensuring the store is in exceptional order and that all employees are performing duties properly and efficiently. Assistant Managers must lead by example and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. As an Assistant Manager, your attitude needs to be enthusiastic, friendly, and positive. This is a Bonus-eligible position that requires open availability.
