Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily Drive-In operations alongside the General Manager. You will hire, train, supervise, and develop staff to provide a SuperSONIC experience for guests.

As the top manager on site, you will manage the P&L, coach for performance, and ensure safety and sanitation standards while complying with all laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Prior management experience; restaurant or retail industry preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Associate’s degree in Business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Drive-In operations in conjunction with the General Manager.
• Assist with hiring, training, supervising, and developing staff to deliver a SuperSONIC experience.
• Manage profit and loss to exceed expectations weekly, monthly, and yearly.
• Provide timely feedback and coaching to employees; maintain a positive shift atmosphere.
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards; comply with laws and regulations.
• Use performance metrics to evaluate and drive improvements.

The Job:As a SONIC Drive-In Assistant General Manager, you are responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the Drive-In in conjunction with the General Manager to provide quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner so that guests will have an enjoyable experience at the Sonic Drive-In. As the highest management position within the Drive-In, you are accountable for the Drive-In and its operations.
